Pro tip: Tweeting a room number will help other participants vote with their feet!
Would a world without copyright be empty? At least there will be less Disney figures around.
Copyright law = two different rights:
1: Exploitation rights: permission of author to re-use (brings in the money)
2: Moral rights: obligation to mention name for re-use, right of author to go to court
Most data is very factual, so how can it be copyright protected? In which way is copyright a barrier to innovation?
Proposal for discussion: Stop granting exploitation rights when it comes to exploitation rights, but maintain moral rights when it is about digital content
Problem is bigger with digital data then in the "real" world.
