TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY
Leaks are unathorized publication of protected information - shall those who leak be held accountable? In which way? How do you protect your sources as a journalist?
Journalists and NGOs as holders of information - we as citizens have to trust them
Greanpeace TTIP leak - did it create public conclusion? Publuic distrust?
The question is however not how but why? And the leaks don't give an answer on that
Does transparency and awareness create empowerness?
Can disclosure lead to changes in national behaviour?
Is transparency in the EU just a make up?

What should public media be like?
An information leak isn't a confirmation of the democratic system's effectiveness, because, apparently, information had to be 'forced' out to disclose certain issues. On the other hand, neither is a leak a confirmation of a system's failure: civil servants just don't always know which information to publish. Which current information will be relevant in the future? Which would be damaging if published?
